Meet Michigan State Recent Dynamo – Associate Head Coach Rita Arndt-Molis

During the changing of the guard for Michigan State University 's Cross Country and Track & Field Program, Rita Arndt-Molis was named associate head coach Walt Drenth announced the following appointment as director of programs.

Arndt-Molis will follow Coach in men and women middle distance and distance runners in both cross-country and then. She spent her first two years as head coach of the women's cross country team and as an assistant coach in athletics.

Their effect wasimmediately. The 2004 cross country team was in the NCAA National Championships 14th led by All-American Danette Doetzel the 12th Place. The women were also on the 3rd Great Lakes Regional Championships and Illinois as finalists in the Big Ten Championships tied.

Arndt-Molis, provided lead guidance, encouragement and motivation for their runners to succeed in competition and in the classroom. Their 2004 cross-country team posted a team GPA of 3.52 to buy Academic All-American recognition.

The 2005 track team with a school-record 11:29.69 in the distance medley relay and was runner-up in the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

Arndt-Molis 2005, the cross-country team on its trip to the 5th Consequence of the NCAA National Championships, where the Spartans and 30th were. Before qualifying for the nationals, the team was in the 5th Great Lakes Regional Championships. The team gave them a total of 3.61 GPA, Academic All –> American recognition.

The team finished the 2006 season, length 4 in the Great Lakes Regional Championships with 4 runners-Nicole Bush, Emily Adams, Michelle Rafferty and Aimee Keenan qualifiers for the NCAA National Championships. Bush was in the 3000-meter 5th at the nationals in a school-record 10:01.04, running, and she was an All-American with the 5th fastest 3000-meter time in the nation.

Against Michigan State, Arndt-Molis spent two seasons as an assistant coach forCross country and track with the University of South Florida Bulls, where she contributed to the development of the conference every 43 athletes, 10 all-regional players and 3 NCAA qualifiers.

The friendly and energetic Arndt-Molis coached by Christa Benton, South Florida's first All-American in cross-country, and Andrew Smith, the Bulls first conference men's cross-county champion. In track, set the men's 4×800 relay team start a school. Arndt-Molis has been part of the 2003 ConferenceUSA Coaching Staff of the Year.

As Walt Drenth, Rita Arndt-Molis had tremendous success coaching always before his arrival at Michigan State University campus.

Arndt-Molis, the Spartans ran cross country and track teams for 2 years before completing her collegiate career at South Florida, where she was the 6-time NCAA qualification, 3-time Academic All-American and helped the Bulls their first Conference USA Championship and first NCAA berthChampionships in 1998.

In their 5-year cross country and track & field coaching career, Rita Arndt-Molis has directly helped to create:

Sixty All-Conference athlete, 4 separate conference champions, 1 conference team championship, 24 All-Regional athletes, 4 Academic All-American teams, 2 Academic All-American persons, 2 NCAA Cross Country Championship team qualifiers, 11 NCAA Regional Qualifier, and 3 All-Americans.

You could call Rita Arndt-Molissympathetic, courageous, energetic, give positive or optimistic, but the best name for them is the winner. She is a winner first, last and always, and the Michigan State University and its athletes, they benefit every day is the coaching of the green and white.
